Mash Ritchie is an abstract artist living and working as an art consultant in Toronto, ON. She graduated from OCAD University with a BFA from the Drawing and Painting program.
Ritchie directs her abilities between two disciplines of painting: abstract and surreal landscapes (current series in progress, unavailable). As these parallels are explored, the theme of identity has become present in her artistic journey as she reflects and situates herself within it.
In her current body of work “Untitled Series”, she continues to expand upon autonomous and expressive mark making. Following her intuitive process, Ritchie is aware of the cause and effect that one mark can have. That each mark acts individually on it’s own while influencing it’s environment but cohesively existing together.

Since I was a child but I have been painting abstractly since 2016.
